Update

fall/spring

IT'S SPRING TIME! Wut da wut? I know, it's darn right crazy how the seasons change so rapidly. One morning I wake up having to put on a heavy sweater, and now I can wear shorts, and florals, and pastels, and every color on that color wheel (not that I couldn't before, but for exaggeration's sake). Anyways, with the change in seasons, there comes major transitions in life. Currently, I'm finishing my sophomore year of college, leaving me with endless amounts of stress and under-eye circles that no amount of concealer can possibly cover (you get a picture of my feet instead). Also I've been getting on that make-up train, know what I'm saying? In case you don't, makeup is something that I don't really mess with. I love lipstick, but let's be honest, any minute of sleep that I can conserve in the morning will not be used on beautifying said face. In wanting to make my face look semi-presentable, during Spring Break, I chose to indulge in some products:

For those of you who know me in real life, I know, I know, I don't put make up on, but let me be a girl! With all joking aside, I'll try and use these beautiful items and let you know how they pan out!
By the way, one of my gorgeous friends, Charmayne, is up and blogging again! Check her blog for beauty tips and coolness.
Well, I'm off to tend to my boyfriends, Chemistry and Calculus...They're sort of demanding..
As always, have a wonderful day!

an apology

Hello there lovely blog readers! I am terribly sorry for the lack of blog posts as of late. My time has been consumed by nothing else but school. I know, life of a college student is rough, but fear not! I will start posting regularly to hopefully quench your thirst for more of Closet Blues.

As always, I hope you all have a wonderful day, and don't forget to:

city in color

To celebrate the end of our freshman year of college, my pals and I decided to go on a much-awaited road trip, south of the suburban city that is Mesa! Here's a few pictures of our little expedition:

You probably know by now how much I love my watch...considering that I wear it on every single outfit post thus far. I can't help it; I'm obsessed. The AA sweater that I was sporting was way too long, so I belted it, like I usually do with my longer, more baggier pieces of clothing. Let me know if you guys want to see how I style baggie clothes in particular, and if you have any DIY requests.

Hope you're all having a wonderful day!

Hi everyone! It's finally Spring Break, which means I have more time to actually put effort into how I look in the morning...let's just say my early morning classes were not helping my cause. Anyways, I wore this airy taupe top from Ann Taylor LOFT, and I am such a huge fan! The thin texture is perfect for every outfit and it just feels heavenly. Sorry for being MIA lately! The aforementioned classes are taking over my life.

Happy reading!

leap day

Happy Leap Day everyone! This outfit is inspired by this episode of 30 Rock. What can a girl do,but pay homage to perhaps one of the best shows ever? haha. With that aside, I love this Gap sweater so much. The mustard hue and the zipper detail (not pictured) on the back gives it so much character. My top knot, which is incredibly easy to do, was perfect for today's outfit....let's just say that sometimes college gals would rather spend time sleeping than doing their hair...

I've been on a neutral color kick as of late, and you can probably tell..But this outfit is one of the most comfortable set of clothes I've worn in a while. The flare corduroy pants are SUPER soft (..they make me look taller..haha), and the touch of chiffon on the top definitely caters to the amazing 75 degree weather. As always, thanks for reading!
